3 Night Okavango Kayak Package
Experience the Okavango Delta - only area with permanent water.
 

Day 1:

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Maun at 8am. You then drive by vehicle through the Buffalo fence into Community controlled wildlife management area NG32 at Daunara gate (this takes approximately 1 hour). You then set off in kayaks supported by mokoros carrying equipment. Lunch is served en-route to camp. You arrive at the campsite mid afternoon, set up camp and then go for an evening walk.
Day 2 & 3:

Enjoy a morning wildlife safari walk, returning to camp for breakfast. Breakfast usually consists of eggs, bacon/boerewors/sausage, toast and baked beans, coffee, tea and fruit juice. You then set out on kayaks to explore the Okavango with lunch served en-route. Typically around 1pm you stop for lunch in a nice scenic area for cold meats, salad, bread and cheese. After a couple of hours more of kayaking you then head back to camp and enjoy an evening wildlife walk before dinner and sunset views.
Day 4:

Enjoy a morning safari walk and breakfast before kayaking back to Daunara village, arriving around 3 pm. You then drive back to Maun arriving about 4. 30 pm with drop off back at your accommodations.

We cater for vegetarians, vegans and those with allergies and dietary restrictions. Please feel free to let us know.

 

The camp staff will set up camp, cook, wash up. The staff will offer guests hot bucket showers in the evenings. Guests are welcome to participate in general camp set up.
